TRIP CAPTAIN TO ADD ANY RELEVANT INFORMATION >> Fishing report, flies to use, etc.

The Gateway Natural Area https://poudreheritage.org/locations/gateway-natural-area/ offers a variety of recreational pursuits including nature trails, boat putins and take outs, picnic facilities, and of course fishing. The Gateway Natural Area is open Dawn to Dusk year round. The park gates  close automatically at dusk and there is no way back thru the area after dusk.

A $7 Fee per vehicle is required. All groups/events exceeding 15 people require a Special Use Permit or shelter reservation.  Fishing upstream of the confluence of the North Fork and the Poudre River(immediately upstream of the first two bridges within Gateway) is “Catch and Release Only” and artificial flies and lures only.

The Gateway Natural Area has a map with satellite view
